MEDICAL & HUMANITARIAN AID
Relief Network Min., Inc. provides Medical and Human Relief Services in underserved communities and to the very poor and needy that lack access to basic medical care and visible malnutrition issues. Our Medical Outreaches are organized in communities selected with widespread neglect of common illnesses and easily treatable medical conditions. We partner with Medical Doctors, Nurse, Pharmacists, Dentists, Optometrist, and other healthcare workers to deliver our Medical Missions program, sometimes with other like-minded partner organizations. Along with that, RNM delivers Humanitarian Relief during times of disasters as resources become available, or from general reserve funds for emergency response.
Over the past 23 years, has conducted some 15 major Medical Outreaches in West Africa, and India. RNM runs Medical Outreaches in the form of Out-Patient Clinics, In-Hospital Surgeries, Vital Signs checkups, Vitamins and Supplement distribution, and Practical Training of local medical workers through interaction with our International Medical Volunteers during Medical Mission trips.
Medical Outreaches are done about 1 or 2 times every other year in selected village communities, and in association with a major health care center, hospital or clinic.
They are often held in school or church buildings to allow enough space for all the patients that flock the line to get free medical care or free medicines and supplements that are provided mostly by volunteers and donors from USA.
A few special needs surgeries are also sometimes performed in those medical centers near the mobile clinic sites. The availability of clean running water in health care centers in West Africa is a challenge. However, our team works most of the time with hospitals and clinics that have access to safe running water.
Humanitarian Relief and Emergency Aids are provided as the need arises and as resources are made available from donors / sponsors who get tax deduction receipt for their gifts or sponsorships of this vital program that often support critical healthcare needs of the indigent poor.

Group of Caregivers ready for Missions Outreach

I'm advocating for training and equipping health caregivers as well as volunteers to learn some the needs in the Long-Term Care for aging seniors and their typical disabilities and how to cope with them as they age in place.
