ORGANIZATIONAL
STATUS
The Relief Network Ministries Inc. (RNM) is a 501 (c)(3)
non-profit public organization incorporated in the State of Texas in April 2001
with headquarters in League City, Texas. As a ministry (service organization),
we are neither "religious" nor "secular" but we are guided
by the principles articulated in our core
values or statement of faith.
Mission & Objectives
RNM is committed to addressing the need to remove
conditions that lead to abject poverty, disease and ill health, especially among
children and women; as well as inadequate skills which leads to low productivity &
development in targeted communities. We focus on alleviating acute shortages or
lack of sanitary drinking water which significantly contribute to poor health
& hygiene among the poor and disenfranchised.
The broad strategic mission of RNM is to work
through specific faith based community-driven project efforts using well
researched methods to meet the needs
of impoverished communities particularly in developing countries, rural areas,
and inner cities.
This helps RNM target the socio-economic problems
associated with the family & human sufferings, especially in 3rd
world countries and our inner cities. Our
ultimate mission therefore is to touch lives for Christ & eternity.
In addition, RNM aims to minister to urban drug addicts,
alcohol abusers and battered women / teenage mothers who desire to be helped
through RNM’s faith based approach.

- We believe that Faith without works is dead, and
that the inverse is also true: works without faith is dead, both are
vital and complementary. This core belief drives our desire and compassion
to minister (or serve) the poor & needy (including helpless widows,
fatherless children, orphans, etc.) especially those wasting away in obscure
rural communities.
- Every human being has an eternal worth, and is of great
value in the sight of God. Human life should be valued and people in need
still deserve respect and honor. Every individual deserves love and care
whether rich or poor, great or small.
- Inequity, injustice & human sufferings are not always a
result of an individual's action or sin. For example the man born blind
(John 9:1-ff). He needed help, and Jesus (the 'Living Water') was there showing us an example
without putting him down. All fingers are not equal, they complement each
other. All peoples are not equally privileged or disposed, but compassion,
especially the selfless Agape love that gives will always motive a desire to
share with people in need of a helping hand.
- We value our Judeo-Christian heritage derived from the inspired
Word of God - the Bible, and reasonably articulated in the Nicean Creed of
AD 350. Rightly applied and communicated to the younger generation, we leave
a legacy
- We believe that serving others is the way to greatness in
eyes of our great Creator, Father God, and that it further provides
opportunities to share the "reason of the hope that is in us" with
most receivers of our service.
- We believe that we are "what we are" only by the
grace of God, and therefore will not give room for any strife with
anybody.
- We believe in the value of all life and the need to improve
it's quality for all humans as well as the giving of necessary
opportunity to all for the improvement of personal dignity.
- We believe that we are always under a higher authority -
that of God, and as a result, our conduct and business must be done with integrity
and accountability.
- We judiciously manage and use the resources that are
entrusted to us for the business objectives and activities of Relief Network
Ministries, Inc. as stated in our articles of incorporation.
- We know that a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ the "Living
Water" will usually bring about a change in the depths of one's hearts.
This change accelerates a desire to want to touch other lives for good.
Thus, our core belief in the value & dignity of all men, whether rich or
poor, small or big, full or hungry, smart or daft, constrains us to continue
to take bigger strides in our jobs at RNM. Thus, we dedicate ourselves to
selfless service to many under privileged
people groups in order to provide them access to clean sanitary drinking
water with basic skills for more gainful employment. Helping people is
a journey to the depth of the spirit that most often begins with meeting a
vital physical or emotional need.
“Any religion that professes to be concerned with the
souls of men and is not concerned with the slums that damn them, the economic
conditions that strangle them, and the social conditions that cripple them is a
dry-as-dust religion.”
– Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
