Dear Friend:

A Word in due Season for you - Read Psalm 125:2-4

Who's afraid of the Rod of the Wicked?

2As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

4Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

As the year comes to an end or Christmas day so close, you might still be wondering about one or several challenges you have already faced throughout the year. Like when are they coming to an end? Why do I still have this problem? Why am I still sick with this, or that, or why is my family member or friend not yet healed?

We just want to encourge you from the CURRENT WORD - "the rod of the wicked shall NOT rest upon the lot of the righteous;...", so don't give up. No temptation has come to you beyond what is common to man. God knows that if He overextends any of us, we will snap and put our "hands unto iniquity". That means, we shall not only  think like Job's wife who advised him to cause God and die, but many of us will have already done it at the drop of a hat.

So thank God you have not caused him - believe His word to make a difference for you in the few days remaining before the New Year rolls in.

The Lord will indeed do good to those that be good - whose heart of trust does not waver or feel afraid of the enemy's rod.

As the mountains of defence are round about Jerusalem, so is God's hand of protection around you and your family this joyous season. Have a blessed Holidays!

a. Last week, Dr. Samson Otuwa, our treasurer returned from Nigeria where God used him to bring hope and comfort to his mom and other relatives in their village. Despite being bereaved of his father, he had the courage to reach out to villagers around Ikwuano by conducting a free Medical Clinic co-sponsored by RNM, Inc. Two other doctors (Dr. Charles Ikeji of Diving Grace Aba, and an associate doctor) were at hand as volunteers to help.

They report an overwhelming turn out - more sick folks than they could care for... but managed to minister prayerfully as well to many. Praise God gor the hope they brought back and joy to many throught gifts shared and free medicines given.

b. Aso - if you have not given this year toward our equipment drive, please endevour today to help  meet the ministry goal of $25,000 to cover the parts & support equipment, plus shipping cost to Nigeria.  To see the cable tool rig we're working on moving to Africa - click here .

Prayer Requests / Answers:
Prayer & Praise points :

  1. Praise God for journey mercies to Dr. Samson to Nigeria and back with no problems.
  2. Continue to pray for our Water well Rig project fundraising – our goal for the cable tool is $25,000 and we have achieved about 56 % of that goal. Pray and consider how to move us forward by making your own contribution today.  Pray for the Annual Fundraising dinner / Christmas Party now pushed back to 3rd Weekend in March, 2005. Details later.
  3. Conntinue to pray for revival in the Church in America today, for the apathy among Christians to cease. May the coming Christmas celebrations indeed be a time to give God glory in your family as we look back to all he has done this year
  4. Praise God for what we have accomplished this year alone with His enabling and your support. We completed 3 new major water well projects supplying a community hospital, a school, and the village of Aro-Ngwa in Abia State of Nigeria. 2 Mission trips that includes ministry to hundreds of prisoners at Aba, School for the blind children, and medical outreach, medical supplies to Ghana, computers donated to Churches / organizations and needy families. Over 350 salvations have been reported earlier. Also pray for the 2 problematic well reactivations in progress;  give God praise for the nearly 600 hard bound books for high school / college level training donated to us by the Corporate School, formerly in Houston; the Storage Building just erected (a 10' Wide by 16' Long by 9' high) and other mission trip contributions. Thank God for several other donation of assets (some from Exxon-Mobile / United Way Texas Gulf Coast), and the two fetal monitors (from a local Hospital in Houston Texas) each valued at approximately $20,000; We will need your support to help move these assets to Africa early in 2005. Let me know where you can be of assistance.
  5. Pray for an office helper / book keeper volunteer to assist our treasurer (need only 2-4 hours per week). Let me know if you can serve and leave in Houston area.
  6. Continue to pray for  two drillers urgently needed to work in Nigeria for our ministry for 1 to 6 months , possibly longer as they train the nationals - one for a Cable Tool Drilling, and the other for the LS-200 rig for a short term (3 weeks to 1 month). Pray also for doctors, and skilled computer volunteers to go with our team in either the Fall of 2004, or the Spring 2005 trip.
  7. Pray for Grant writers / volunteers to help with the various programs at RNM, Inc within our vision. We have lots of work to do and need any contribution you can make in time or money.
