Winter 2006 to May - Ebenezer I & II Monuments built - Our Equipment Delivery...

The rig funds was raised over several years - 2003 to 2006, we searched everywhere - Online, Well Drilling / Trade Magazines, made contacts here and there, sent emails, etc... Living in Texas, you'd think would be easy to find a water well rig in this great State. Alas, big Texas would rather drill for oil and gas than water... We had to look outside Texas. >learn more.

Rig & Water Truck Story

At last the Lord made it possible for us to find one in Mifflinburg, PA by putting us in touch with East West Machinery Exporting, Inc. We visited, checked it out, did several Oil sample tests on the engines & air compressor before buying the rig. It is a 1977 Schramm T64HB S/N 1077 with a 425 CFM / 250 PSI air compressor on deck on a '77 GMC truck. The truck is powered by a Detroit 6V53 diesel and carries an additional rig deck engine that is a Detroit 8V71, has a 4x5 centrifugal mud pump, 4 rod carousel, and a CAT water injection pump. Rig was purchased with a hammer, and tri-cone bits for drilling through any formation / overburden.

The ministry is thankful for this outstanding business owned by two God-fearing Christian businessmen - Mr. Mike Hoover & his partner, Mr. Steve based in their California branch.

Water Service Truck

About the same time, we got a lead for a flat-bed service truck with a 1000 gallon water tank. We followed up on it, and soon, all is now history. Dr. A. Sunny Okorie went to see it in White Pines Tennessee after receiving a good report from a mutual friend of the ministry living in Knoxville, TN. He then purchased the truck plus extra 200 feet of drill pipes. The former owner, Mr. Leone Ingle of Ingle Brothers Drilling, donated additional 100 feet of drill rods (pipes) to contribute to our charitable cause. Dr. Okorie then took the bold step of faith to get a temporary registration on it the same day and drove it all the way back to Houston - a 1000 mile journey across five states with no incidents. Praise the Lord!

Pictures below shows the Water Service Truck with some 340 feet of 20 feet drill rods on it's way to the Port of Houston in Texas to prepare for it's on-ward journey to Onne sea port near Port Harcourt, Nigeria - West Africa.

In Nigeria, the Schramm Rig would work on large capacity wells in difficult areas / formations that have heretofore been impossible for other drilling equipment / methods used in our drilling in Southern Nigeria.
