Dear !*FirstName*!,

RNM reaches out with TROPIX

TROPIX - a medical expert system for tropical disease diagnosis and therapy has been used to diagnose 22 typical tropical diseases in the laboratory with better than 96% accuracy. Actual clinical data used in test analysis proved very useful in confirming the reliability of the embedded expertise in TROPIX for both diagnoses and medical reference for remote hospitals or rural and semi-urban health care centers.

TROPIX packaged with Laptop Computers

Relief Network Ministries will be offering TROPIX to a number of rural and community health care centers bundled with a long battery life Laptop PC. Our medical outreach program will include the provision of TROPIX to assist such clinics with little or no medical doctors visiting per week. Typically, many rural communities in Africa, including Nigeria do not have a doctor to patient ratio that is better than 1 to 3000. The situation is worse in more remote villages, or some semi-urban squalors with bad access roads, water logs , etc. which make them more endemic with mosquitoes and such disease bearing agents.

To donate a new or used Laptop PC, please contact us by email or by phone at  281-538-0687.

To make a cash contribution, you can either use our online facility at: Donations, or send your check or money order to our address at:

Our new first new Rig LS-200 Acquired

In a new development this past week, RNM and Living Water International (LWI) are partnering to accelerate the water well ministry in Nigeria by jointly acquiring the LS-200 with nearly two-thirds of the funding coming as grant from LWI.

Mission 2

Our team is planning to be in Nigeria this summer to begin a new round of water well drilling with the LS-200 rig as we minister the love of Christ to the people of Nigeria - the most populous African country. The LS-200 rotary mud drilling rig is similar to the LS-100 we used at the LWI training Camp in Quantum Lakes Texas, but with larger size drill pipes and a stronger mast that permits drilling to 200 + feet for a 6 inch diameter hole design for a 4 inch PVC casing.  Each year LWI organizes several Drill Training and Pump Installation & Maintenance Camps around the USA which RNM has participated, and is now plugged into. This year, Dr. Samson Otuwa and Dr. A. Sunny Okorie attended the Drill Camp on behalf of RNM.  Our plan this summer (mid-July to first week in August) is to develop several wells with a minimum of 3 wells during the three weeks period in addition to training the locals / nationals who will continue the work when our team leaves. The Nigeria Development Initiative covers 3 states, namely Imo, Abia, and Anambara with the possibility of benefiting other states as we have more resources and enlist the involvement of local groups, churches and community organizations interested in self-help projects.

Volunteer to go...

If you are interested in joining our mission team, volunteering your skills in some way for the drilling, ministering while we drill, or other related medical / sanitation and hygiene training of the native, please send us an email reply, sign-up at our website or call us at: 281-538-0687.

Donate or sponsor a Hand or Foot Pump

Help keep children healthy and deliver rural women from hours and miles of long walk to polluted streams for water in these African villages ... each well completed will be equipped with a hand or foot pump that will allow villagers to draw water from the well. The pumps run from $350 to $1250 depending on the type, cylinder and capacity of water to be lifted.
