7. Installations: State the casing size installed, draw pipes / riser pipes installed, capacity of pump installed and type (submersible or hand pump, power source where a submersible is installed, etc.): 5.5” Casing was installed in well, with a 1.5 HP SUMO submersible pump. The draw pipes or riser was 1.5” pipes.
8. Vital Photographs: Include photos of water well producing / being developed, or natives fetching water from well: The photographs are attached – shows well being drilled, during development / water jetting up in the air, and school children scrambling to get to the water.
9. What the beneficiaries are saying: include a paragraph or two to describe any gratitude expressed: “Thank you so much”; “We’re now sure that our school kids are drinking clean water”; “we no longer have to buy costly water from unknown sources and tankers.”
10. General Comments: (any other thoughts you have on the project / it's development and commissioning): We praise God for the opportunity to help Jesus Brethren Ministries (our new partners in Abia State), Aba solve the water need and challenge to provide school kids with fresh clean water. This well will also help the nearby neighbors of the school who extend goodwill to them, and they are certainly free to sell some of this water to provide for the maintenance of the well, and related services such as the upkeep of toilets and cafeteria of the school and Church.
Blessings to you as you share in our ministry and share this website with
others!
