Rig & Truck in Amaigbo on Pilot Well Project
Our Rig & Water Service Truck
now deployed on first deep Well Project in Amaigbo

300 feet in sedimentary formation with 15 rods of pipe and bit / sub adapter
stuck from 100 feet down.

of our rig crew / mechanics at Amaigbo, Imo State of Nigeria.

300 feet of pipes, and another view of the stuck set of pipes in first well,
while RNM Gen. Manager, Oge' Florence Ochi-Okorie and Pyppa Johnson (visiting from
Houston) ponders the challenges ahead for the drill crew.
Plan is to use a set of 50 ton jacks, drilling foam / air injection method to
try and pull these rods out when the dry season sets in (October - Feb). Worse
case - find an experienced dynamite user to blow out the bit and retrieve as
much of the rods as possible. Meanwhile, a second hole / mud pit has been dug to
start an alternate well ASAP to avoid the stand-off which has lasted from
mid-March to late June 2007.

drilling during an interview session in June. Right: Cajetan and John -

Some 6 to 7 miles away from the
new well location is the old Nwangele river - a stream that continue to get a
lot of debris / dumps, yet very vital to the welfare and economic survival of
thousands living in Amaigbo and its neighboring villages. Nwangele meanders
through many towns and villages and is said to empty into Imo River. It badly
needs to dredged right now.

the Nwangele River - the main surface water source for the people of Amaigbo
town and parts of Eziama Obire, with a population in excess of over 40,000.
Outreach Continues despite these challenges or
problems:
We also reached out to many
needy families and widows in Orlu, Amaigbo, Aba, and Port Harcourt. From our
supplies and items shipped in last November, we distributed several medical supplies,
school books, gave away some equipment and computers to some organizations and
micro-producers to help them thrive in their business endeavours.
Spring-Summer Mission 2008
Plan / Call for Volunteers
We now about 8 people interested in our next Mission trip in Spring (mid-March
to early June) of 2008. It will be both a medical mission with at least 2
doctors / specialists on the team (possibly more), a drilling and vocational
training outreach to several communities in Nigeria, and potentially Sierra
Leone (not yet finalized).
If you are interested in going, or know someone who would like to join us,
please contact us as soon as possible - we may limit the number to 12. To
volunteer to go with us, you will need about $2200 for your round-trip air
tickets into West Africa, and an additional $300 to $500 spending money for part
of your living and incidental expense. For those who plan to cover a second
country, please plan to spend an extra $350 for the round-trip fare between
countries in West Africa and a couple of nights of hotel stay. Details will be
available soon and published on our website as well.

How you can help... donate to
help sustain our new Operators ($100 each per month for 3 crew members for about
6 months when we hope they would be self-sustaining from some of the commercial
projects they execute to supplement our relief / charitable work). You may
also donate towards a large capacity deep well (250 feet to 500 feet), or
you may co-sponsor part of the cost. Typical cost of a deep well will run from
$7,000 to about $25,000.

our Donation page, or simply send us a check for your desired level of
